Members Zephyrside
Hey guys, currently I'm using a boss rc50 to add octaves to chord progressions that Im playing. But the rc50 takes up too much room on my pedal board. Will the Hog or Pog do the same thing?
Members Stevenglass
Yeah. They both go octave up downBut the hog has harmonys. A whammy would do you good for a lot less money(however, the tracking is not as good)
Members TomCTC
Personally Id hit up something like a Micro POG or a PS-3. Something compact.
Members npfrs
Mirco POG could do, I believe. I have POG + Whammy. Both have different uses for me, but both can do octaves easy. Hated the Boss PS-5 I had...
Members Zephyrside
Cool, so they track well when strumming! Will check out the other pedals you guys suggested too
Members Faldoe
depends on the complexity of the chords. The octaves themselves have a particular voicing too which be disagreeable. If you just want upper and lower octaves go with the Micro Pog, it tracks the best and is small as TomVanDeven said.
Members MesaMonster
I have a POG2 which I like very much. It is smaller than the HOG but a little wider than a standard pedal. I believe EHX calls the boxes XO size.
