Members Urinate Forever
As mentioned the block of wood is to increase sustain as the bridge has contact with the body wood. I used maple but any soft wood should work as well. These saddles will work on an Affinity (they fit on mine). http://www.guitarfetish.com/Upgrade-Stainless-Steel-Saddles-Fits-Trems-Set-of-Six_p_773.html mine isnt affinity, it's a bullet, does that make any difference? I dont know what affinity bridge saddles look like. And to answer Melx's question, the screws are rusted but im thinking i just need to give it a good cleaning. I took the whole body apart, took the neck off, cut the ground cable, getting ready to paint it now. was just hunting around for when i put it back together. Members the Dodo
what's the best thing to use? i really don't feel capable of making a piece of wood to fit. 6-7 coins glued together, just insert them between trem and the wood. It will stay in place while changing strings (even all at once) too.
