I think Crunch B is actaully supposed to be a JCM800, that's what I use it for anyway. You're right to mention the Clean channel which is beautiful and all the EQs are really decent for a Marshall. I've owned a JVM and an '81 JCM800 and I sold both and kept the 6100. For versatility (having a beautiful clean and great sounding crunch channel footswitchable with no delay or pop - unlike the JVM or DSL/TSL amps) you can't beat it. My favourite amp of all time.
