Members QuietInTheDark
New Mark Bass Compressor. Blackfinger crapped out, mainly the proprietary power plug connection. I wasn't looking at this one initially, because it is a MarkBASS after all. But I was not happy with the sound of the other 8 compressors I had tried and thought maybe it was the tubeyness I was missing. Nothing bass specific about this, doesn't have any hidden equalization properties. Extremely quiet even when pushed to limiter ratio levels. Members OnWingsOfLead
NICE! So I take it you are using it in front of a guitar rig?

I really don't use any overdrive or distortion though so I'm considering me options on an amp. I really have a nice direct to board/recording card sound with just the pedals. Right now have, MarkBassComp -> Voodoo Giggity (tone shaper) -> Pork Loin (mild mild Overdrive) -> Zoom G3 (optional per song effects, modulation, EQ, solo boost, Octaver, etc.) - > Hardwire Reverb7. - > amp

Members OnWingsOfLead
I've always wondered how it would sound on a guitar, but never tried it. Might steal my bassists for a couple days
Phil O'Keefe
Interesting. I've never tried one on guitar, but now I'm curious... HNPD!
