How does the chord mode sound in the octave down? I haven't found any demos showing it. Does it still track well, or does it start to get glitchy?

it's not a very well made pedal, very plasticy and made in China.

I wanted to buy it from him and he talked me out of it, he doesn't trust it.

the Whammy V is built like a tank, made in the US I believe.

Octave down tracks like a freaking champ and sounds amazing with fuzz. Probably my most used feature of the Whammy V.
