You're hand soldering surface mount components?

...

Sure!

this summer I started producing my own analogue integrated circuits:

pcb977.jpg

composed out of "handselected" (:D ) SMD components...

pcb976.jpg

Just need a very good compound now, to goop the uneek circuit ("UC"), to hide it from nosey (foreign) eyes of clonatorz.

[the chip to the left is just for size-comparison...]

sorry, no new clip yet...

but just finished etching the first batch of PCBs:

tomorrow: soldering!

Why even do PCB's? That doesn't look too complicated -- you can save time by perfboarding that thing..

Yep, not complicated at all...

Wilbo: "Playdo" ?

M900: they don`t make 1/40" gridded perfboards, afaik;
o.t.o.h. p-board is not for me: toiletpaper never rips at the perf,
but those boards tend to... ;

Searoad: there is zero regeneration/feedback involved in that clip,
if that was what you meant by "oscillation".

Dan-O (post#9): no, it was easy to copy the well-known basic core... ;)

Tenine (post#16): I just knew since summer, B*... was going to release that box

Searoad (post#22): no tubes involved

Televator: (post#23): it clearly sez: "anaLOG" :freak:

SpectralJ (post#42): it`s rather a: "sequenced Sample,Transpose & Repeat"

Searoad (post#67): further? if you mean the range: yes, it can go several octaves up and/or down :)
(will try to make a new clip, which also includes the Arpeggio-option ("Pitch-Blurr")... .

OK, 3 more vids:

"Find-a-Pitch delay-sequence with more extremely pitched intervals.
(3.4MB)

same sequence on open low E-string only.
(2.8MB)

: same again, but this time with engaged "ARPEGGIO"-switch to "smear" the pitch...
(6.6MB)

up-to-date proto-pic:

It sounds great, Puretube.

I'm still wondering whether I'm missing something in this thread though...

The pedal itself is some sort of modulated delay, right?

Will these be going into production? If so, when do you think that'll happen?

Will they be made by a certain company in NYC?

Thanks for getting back to us with all our questions :)
