Members ClavAnother
So what do you think is the best sounding synth when all the lights are out? As you may know everything is perceived as louder in the dark, and with more attention to detail you may hear artifacts that were not seemingly present in the light. Which one sounds the best? Members seamonkey
I'd have to say any synth Richard Wright was playing.
Members carbon111
Has to be the Juno 60! Echos last longer in the dark...and so do erections...
Members flat earth
The best 'sounding' synth in the dark? Well that would have to be my old Moog Rogue. For some un-explainable reason it sounded even more 'pure' with the lights down. I really 'really' wish i didnt let that one go
Members J3RK
My MOTM format modular. It's also very hard to see in the dark... Being black... with no displays... There is the odd LED here or there. The sound is exquisite in the dark. Under fluorescent lighting it sounds cold and digital...

Next you'll be asking us what synth sounds best under water.:poke: MicroKorg Seriously, I can see what you mean, but I certainly would not like to be bunched with Teh Robbins. It just reminded me a recent series of threads that had similar titles that were posted in good fun (I would need to do some digging to remember what they were about, but I remember Purity starting one of them) Edit: actually it was the locked/licked series
Members Irish Acts
I'd like to throwing this one into the pot. It's not a "Synth" as is somthing with a keyboard, but it is a synth that you have to show some love to. The Yamaha VL-70M & WX-5 Chills me out anyway like you have no idea. Regards. Sharp.
