Ive never done much tapping outside of the EVH style and Ive always loved the sound of tapped arpeggios. Are your examples considered basic or are they more intermeadiate or advanced? ( relating to tapped arps not guitar ability in general) In other words, is this a good place to start if you want to learn tapped arps? that took a bit!! thanks again Kage

Thanks for listening to my clips but they suck compared to most of the stuff I hear on this board. Where do you place the hairband? Right up near the nut? Members Robbert 01
Thanks a lot!!STEEL KAGE: I think that the first lesson is a good excersize to begin with...not to full speed but just to adjust to the basic form. It's more important to play "slow and clean" then "fast and muddy". Don't use too much gain. It's better to lower the gain and add a little bit compression to get a more fluid sound.StevieRaveOn: Yes, mostly right up near the nut. With some extreme tapping-stuff you can slide it up a little bit.You just have to see it as a little help for extreme stuff besides your normal handpalm-muting.
