Okay I am looking for something else other than my 2 existing in my sig.

I have from 800-$1000.

Prefer 2 hum not neccasarily though. Whammy Bar or bridge okay. 25.5 scale prefered ( the sig guitars are)

Looking at:

Jackson

Christian Olde Wolber Dinky

Kevin Bond RR

RR5

Ibanez

Gilbert model (supposedly wider neck than the traditional wizard)

Satriani

ESP

EC 1000 (not 25.5 I know)

MH-NT400

MH250 (might be too low of a model quality wise)

Hammet (don't really like him at all, but the guitar seems nice)

Peavey

Wolfgang

The Axis are nice guitars, but I prefer Wolfgangs. Some guys prefer the Axis.

I don't know many people that really think they are the same - frets are smaller on the axis, fingerboard is flatter on the wolfgang, pickups are different, and the wolfgang can be had with an arched top that isn't offered at all on the axis.

me neither, but still got the guitar and pretty happy with it so far.

i got the kh-602, i would rather have gotten a m-1000, but wasn't any around at the time. sounds damn good and stays in tune like crazy.

when i got the kh-602, i was actually liking how similarly priced jacksons and deans played, but went with the kh for the emgs and floyd.

How much?

Would you consider trade and cash?

The Axis has a Floyd?

Most of the ones that I have seen don't.

Let me know.

I think I will have to get a couple hundred more to get a

Wolfgang USA.

But sounds from here like a great guitar.

If you saw my other threads I was chasing down a used Wolfgang and it turned out he wanted $750 but it was the Korean which I am seeing is too high of a price.

Two different guitars.

you're right, they're not the same guitar...similar, but there's differences here and there...neck profile for one..archtop on the peavy...

now I've heard that the peavy quality control on those things wasn't that great....

but that's just WHAT I HEARD! before anyone decides to flame me =)

another thing, I like having the pup switch by the strings..seems so much more logical to have it there....

anywho, mine's probably gonna be up for sale in a few days time, fyi..lol

Okay!!!!!!!!!

GREAT news.
I just called my local store that is a Peavey amp dealer that I bought my JSX from and the one store had a Korean Wolfgang for $799. I didn't know they sold Peavey guitars.
He mentioned he thought that the other store may have one USA.

The other store has 2 USA!!
A bridge with a maple top.
A Floyd in cream color.

GET THIS ...........................$839 USA Wolfgang.

I hope I can get off work in time to get there to check it out.

The Wolfs I played were well built, just the neck profile was not mine thing.
