Members soundxplorer
Was I dreaming this? It's possible. I've been having a lot of weird dreams lately. I've searched, but I can't find it again. It looked like the other Factor pedals, but had a purple color scheme. One of the programs on the front panel was "Aliens". Real?Or did I have too many margaritas the other night?
Members stikygum
Are you thinking about the purple Line 6 Filter pedal? I think their might be a Aliens patch.

Members AfroRouge
The only use I've found for the FM4 is as a component of a noise rig. Of the L6 modeler pedals I've owned or used, it's got the worst tone, such as it is.
Members stikygum
Really? Crap I was thinking of getting the filter pro. Seems to have a lot of different filter sounds. I guess that's why I bought filters for my modular.
Members AfroRouge
Yeah it's extremely far from real analog, much less satisfying than the Echo Pro (although there are issues with that unit, too, like terrible MIDI sync). The "pro" version might be better than the pedal, though I'm skeptical.
Members soundxplorer
No, I know about the Line6 stuff. This was a black box exactly like the other Factor pedals, with a purple stripe instead of blue like this one: I thought it was a picture from MESSE. And like I said, it's quite possible that it was in a dream I had the other night, and has nothing to do with reality
Members AfroRouge
For some reason your dream pedal is tickling the back of my brain somewhere, like I saw a pic of it too. I think there was something new from Eventide recently. Maybe NAMM?

That's definitely the one that made me think "Autotune!" too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKz-RXSeIYA
