Members Karma1 Posted December 11, 2005 Members Share Posted December 11, 2005 I'm considering getting a Cyber Champ to replace my Blues Jr. I know some people may think it's crazy to replace a tube amp with a solid state, and maybe it is. I like the Blues Jr. a lot for what it is, but it's pretty limited in terms of features and versatility, especially compared to the Cyber Champ. I also have a Mesa Boogie Studio 22+, so I wouldn't be going totally tube-less. Another factor is that I always run my guitar directly into a Mesa Boogie V-Twin tube pre-amp before going to the amp, which adds some warmth and tube circuitry to the signal path.
