Members LIAR-502 Posted December 16, 2005 Author Members Share Posted December 16, 2005 cool, the fireball is more a full on metal amp isn't it? i'm looking for something that does from blues to hardrock to metal and the screamer is good for that. so i was thinking the blackmore would be pretty similar to that, and then i saw the savage and have no clue what thats about. but i don't think i want to go the powerball or fireball route. From what I know of it, the Blackmore would suit you well. As for the Savage 120, I've read that the Blackmore is something of a simplified version of the Savage, although that could be misleading, as it is in the case of the Fireball and the Powerball. If you need all the extra options, go with the Savage, otherwise, save some cash and get the BM. ...Or maybe you'll find something else you like more, who knows.
