Members Bassified
I currently play bass and acoustic. I am going to get an electric guitar pretty soon and it's most likely going to be either a Squier '51 or one of the LTD's. I was wondering what good amps are out there that can send out no less than 15 watts and no more than 50 watts. Any amps around that range that can fit under my tight budget: approx $150 CDN? Members Bassified
Actually, I was thinking of 15-30watts. Possibly, a small amp that can hold a small gig (under 300 people). Nice if I can spend less tahn $100. Marshall, Fender, etc?
Members theAntihero
I dont know of anything that is gig worthy for 100 bucks canadian. Thats like $75 american right? You might be able to get a Drive or a Rogue amp for that price but it would probably sound like crap. I had a Rogue 30 watter that wasnt great at all. 15 to 30 watts solid state is no where near enough to play with a band, unless it was a singing duo. Drums would totally utterly drown you out, unless they were using brushes. I know you dont want to hear this but you need a little bit more cash to play around with here. Sorry i cant help, but heres a bump to the head of the class for you.
Members jem7vwh
Your best bet is a Roland Cube 15 or Vox AD15VT. Get the cube if you play metal, and the Vox if not.
Members Bassified
Yea I am aware of that. I was looking at the Roland's. But it's only 15 watts and some amps are 30watts for half that price. So I don't really know.
