Amp Ohm question

I have a Mesa dual recto, and I currently run a mesa 4x12 cab at 8 ohms.

Now my question is, I'm going to pick up an orange cab soon, and they are wired at 16 ohms, so when I run them together, what outputs would be safest to use?

The dual has two 8 ohm outputs, two 4 ohm outpus, and two 2 ohm outputs.

the reason i ask is because 16 and 8 don't mix down nicely (its about 6 i think). But ya, any advice would be appreciated :)

It is theoretically 5.33 ohms. You should be ok using the four ohm setting.

Yes,obviously that would be the case.
