ok, this is my 2nd marshall and i still dont like it.

I could never make myself like the Marshalls i had either.I had a TSL 100 which was ok,then i got a jcm800 2205 and thought that was worse.

I wish there were more people like you. Then the rediculous prices would come down. :)

Put an SD-1 in front and it'll tighten the tone up quite a bit.

yes it tightens up...but still doesnt take the "delay squash" thing out of it, it still has a semi slow attack......

 

 

i dunno, how much is a used marshall 2210 going for nowadays?

its nowhere near as fast as my splawn. or my old powerball...or my old biasmodded 5150 haha. thats what im used to

ever played a splawn? not very forgiving, i found the marshall more forgiving then a VHT or the like..... haha dont talk about forgiving amps.... i play www.myspace.com/tbp thats my band, and i play with my gain at around 10 o clock, OD 1 usually, 2nd gear.... thats unforgiving.
