Members Whoopysnorp
If his cab is also 16 ohms, use the 8 ohm output on your amp.
Members shiznats
the xxx is switchable between 4,8,16 ohms. the 1960 is 4 or 16 ohms mono and 8ohms stereo.
Members Whoopysnorp
Right, so set them {censored}s for 16 ohms mono and use the 8 ohm output on your amp. A 16 ohm load plus another 16 ohm load equals an 8 ohm load total.

A cab can't be switchable between 4,8,and 16 ohms mono. Somewhere there is a stereo mode in there. Set them both to 16 ohms,as mentioned and run the amp at 8 ohms, obviously. Once you do it a few times, it should be easy. I suck at math, and I have trouble with it.

Well, Ohms have never really been explained to me. I was told to never mix ohm loads but thats it. But now that I know this, it isn't so hard.
