i for one dont like the Ibanez's because the necks are TOO thin...i thought a Jackson would be but its acutally got some beef to it. Ibanez necks...i feel like im gonna break them LOL

I like AANJs.

i've played a few that felt awesome in my hands

If i get one i'm switching the PUs with the one's in my jackson right now or EMGs immediately

i like the neck on most of them actually.

you see how enraptured I am?

one thing i dont like: Floyds.

Anybody bitching about the neck on an RG has never played a good one. The stock pickups usually suck but that's an easy fix. Also, if you're bitching about a bolt-on you're either a gay corksniffer or you spend too much time reading bull{censored} on the internet rather than playing guitar.

Why don't you step up a string and try out an RG7620? They feel almost as good as my UV and you can get them for about $350-$400 used.

haha he said to talk him out of it, so I just listed random things. I used to own a RG. The higher end RG's are real nice, such as the prestiges, and since the bolt on area isnt fat like stratocasters, the upper frets are easily accessible.

Only thing is pickup swap that can be changed, but killer axe IMO for the price.

They are great. They sound excellent and play even better. The UV is basically a 7-string JEM so I guess I own one. The 6-ers are just as good.
