Members anibas
You're right-that is crazy as hell!Anytime a piece of gear starts selling for more than it's original list price,it's time to walk away,IMO.Those things sound fine, but not THAT good! Members Shask
I know those have been going up, but yeah, thats a bit much. My dad got one about 3 years ago, I wanna say for $250, and I thought that was kind of up there...

Members JimAnsell
i just sold mine for 325. it was the best sounding spring reverb i'd ever heard though. it kinda came to me at the wrong time. i'm too broke to keep it.
Members Jack Luminous
Seeing the price of other fender-clone reverbs, I'd say it's not that crazy. The thing sounds damn good IMHO. It's really a sleeper unit...
Members El Glom-o
I picked up mine mostly for its tremolo. The reverb's really nice, too. I just wish that Peavey had packaged it in a tweed or tolex-covered box, instead of as a one-space rack unit. I bet it would have sold a lot more if they had packaged it that way, and if they re-issued it that way today it would probably sell pretty well.
