the Jr's got the same guts. in fact, i wish i could have found a Jr when i got my EB Volume, since my pedal doesn't fit entirely on my board and it kinda {censored}s things up.

Passive refers to not powered, no battery . No power needed to make it operate...

In the case of Ernie Ball it refers to whether it's designed for passive or active pickups. The active model is lower impedance, but still passive in the traditional sense of the word.

what about Boss volume pedals like the newer 500 series pedals? I like the minimum volume setting feature so that if I happen to play on singel channel amp then I can preset the cleanest needed and dont have to think and concentrate too much on how accurately I press the pedal...
