Members Ostracized
List your favorite ever guitar tones in songs. For me, its a definate tie between the into/outro solo in Reeling in the Years (Steely Dan) and the Whole Lotta Love Solo (Led Zeppelin)

I think I read that Elliot Randall used a cranked Fender Champ on Reelin'.....some of the best two chord vamp solo work ever in my opinion. I pretty much love all of Joe Walshes, David Gilmours and Martin Barres (Jethro Tulls) tones. All guitarist' have flashes of brilliance in tone, wether intended or not. Currently I think Joe Bonamassa is the riegning tone monster....at least in my listening library.

I'll also go with the Foo Fighters first album and most all of QOTSA's songs.

Members The Jeff
Every Van Halen album...with the exception of 5150 and OU812. But something about the Fair Warning and Balance/Humans Being tones just do it for me--as different as they are. EVH knows tone.
