Members Metrosonus Posted August 25, 2010 Members Share Posted August 25, 2010 Ableton is cool but there seems to be a Live backlash. ableton really isn't a synth perse..lol. funny how there is a backlash now eh? one of the reasons I took so long to try it was because of all the hipster idiots using it to "play" reactor patches years ago when it was so cool to use, people were standing in line to buy it. im definitely an access person. Yamaha and Kurzweil market performing artists and Roland just grabs the "in-betweeners." Clavia wants too much money for what they offer IMO but they do make quality instruments. However of the brands you listed, Korg and Nord would are the ones I like the best. Novation should be added to your list, my fave Va synth.
