amp ohms question about a talkbox...

I have the heil talk box, and I read on the Dunlop site that its an 8 ohm load. So when I plug it so that the signal goes amp > Talkbox > cabinet, and my cabinet is an 8 ohm load, the amp see s 4 ohms regardless if the talkbox is on/off right?

I'd really like to just use my JSX for it and not have to lug a second amp around.

(and yes I know the banshee has a built in amp, but I dont want that one, I have the heil...)

I've used mine with the Fender Cyber Twin before and had that cranked pretty good, and a marshall valvestate I know they probably arent rated watts wise as high, but they were cranked pretty decently...cause I used the same mic as I do for vocals, and because I sing pretty loud, they have my mic turned down so to compensate I'd crank the Talkbox amp.

I've had it for 3-4 years and no issues with it.
