Members Karma1
I just saw an ad in a catalog for the Rivera Pubster 25 all-tube combo. Although I know of Rivera, I'm not very familiar with the various models and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this one and could share any info. It seems like an excellent high quality amp. Plus the fact that it only weighs 25 pounds sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Any feedback would be appreciated. Members tlbonehead
Two things against it for me. Shared EQ sections and no head version, at least I have seen one listed. What's the other one, the Clubster? That has discrete EQ sections. What powers the 25 watt models? 6V6's or EL84's? '

The Pubster 25 has 6V6GT's. I believe the Pubster 45 has EL34's

I'm not that familiar with the difference between 6V6 and EL34's relative to tone. I'd be interested to hear any opinions on that. And, yes, I believe it is the same with Clubsters. Although I'm more interested in the Pubster at the moment and am hoping to play one this week at a music store which is a Rivera dealer.
