Members Hell Bites
Having been on HC for a long time, it is interesting to see how the Peavey 5150 has remained one of the all-time metal amps
Members wwhhaatt
You dont have any problems with the ge-7 in the loop? I always thought that it wouldnt work because its a line level loop and the ge-7 is made for guitar signals.

Members Johansolo
ive had the Framus Dragon cab and now own the Framus CS212 cab. the 2x12 is almost near identical (besides in the low end department) and i love it with my Cobra. i really wish framus would release a cobra 2x12 with greenbacks. Members tnourse
Glad you're getting that Cobra dialed in Chris! I'll have to come check it out once you get her nailed down, cause I know it will sound HUGE! It certainly wasn't the right amp for me, but I like the 5150 a lot. That one was very easy for me to get a tone dialed in that I like. The Cobra seems to like volume, which is certainly no good for me. I guess I'm so used to being able to play my Engl at basement levels! Does the Cobra like your EMG or Seymour guitars the best?
Members Nastyn8
run the 6505+ and the Cobra in stereo through your mesa cab, then tell me how earth-shakingly brutal it sounds!!!

You were right, it REALLY needs to be cranked, but then it sounds awesome. It definetely likes the seymours better imo. I am playing it at my show on friday at the rock!
