I jsut got my Carvin V3 in (ebay purchase)

Tubes were packaged seperately, put them in, set the ohms to match the cab

Fire it up for a few min, whenever I turn off standby it hums very loudly and one of the power amp tubes starts glowing really bright, then the flips the fuse and the amp shuts off

Whats the deal? what should i try

I've never had this happen before! I can't find my needle nose pliers either

I already hate this amp lol

That happens too often. If you get it out and reuse the tube, make sure you get it back in the exact spot.

Got it off ebay, So I don't really wanna mess with sending it back

Hope its just the tubes, can't find a pair of pliers though ahhh, none of the stores around here had any either.

soo frustrating

The amp is less than a year old, so it might still be under warrenty, I know Carvin has a flat rate to fix any amp, but its $225...
plus shipping blahhhh

This sucks
