Members LedZep77
I want to buy a Jackson DK2M ($600) from them (they are out of stock right now, though) and was wondering what the chances of them throwing in a case ($85) would be? I have never ordered from them, but was just curious as to how they do business.

Members Attila
Well, I've dealt with them before, but have only tried to get them to do price matching --- FWIW, they were always really good about price matching. -Attila
Members RG550
Im guessing no, since you dont have any commission-driven peons to intimidate with your "IM GONNA LEAVE RIGHT NOW" appeasement speech.

Their Easy Payment plan is sucking me in so bad. I'm doing my best to resist buying things I don't necessarily need.

Members Blatti
The main advantage of American Musical Supply is the monthly payment option. I'm sure they lose a lot of money chasing people down for payments. If you tell them that you will pay the whole bill up front, they might give you a discount. If you want to make payments, I think they would want the full price. www.americanmusical.com/
Members Sandman31774
they will price match any advertised price..if you see a jackson dk2m on another website for the same price with a case then they might...otherwise the jackson dk2m just comes in a box on every website i've seen...no case or gig bag

Members LedZep77
Try it man, if they don't at least you tried True. So I guess the question is: Will AMS throw in the HSC if I show them that Guitar Asylum does it AND I want to do the Easy Payment plan? Pushing my luck? Members Attila
Like someone said above, you have nothing to lose by trying -- but I will give you a tip that's worked for me in the past: Many times, the people answering the phones, basically don't care about making a deal --- there were some times, where I had the person on the phone say "No".....then I'd ask him/her to check with/ask their supervisor for approval....and bingo, I always got it. -Attila

Members tlbonehead
Would they at least give me a discount on the case?Do you think we are authorized to make deals for AMS, or what. Do you realize that it only matters what they decide, not what people guess at here?
