After carefully reviewing these videos, my thoughts are exactly the same. Unmarketable stuff for kids that will not be around in the near future. There will be no greatest hits albums.

three words stood out of this thread, carcass, brutal truth, napalm death. new leng tche is good. shared a stage genghis tron, good dudes. there's enough music to go around so that we don't need to bash other styles. i think naked city was one of the best grind bands out there, but they play jazz. probally the last real punk band in terms of what it really meant, breaking the rules. not musically, but ethically. anyway, back on topic of the off topic, just cause i hate tubescreamers and srv ripoffs doesn't mean i hate the gear page. i enjoy it all. open up, you only live once.

Napalm Death has been together and putting out albums for damn near 20 years. They sell a ton of albums and play sold out shows all over the world. I have seen kids (I'm 34) and older folks as well at their shows. Their musical style has gone through evolutions....but they've always stayed pretty close to their original roots....extreme. Their music has influenced a lot of bands and their DIY attitude has helped them thrive in an industry that doesn't exactly nurture bands.

Just because it ain't your thing, doesn't mean you can dismiss it as childish. And let's be honest, I don't choose music because it is marketable or not. I choose music that moves me and I enjoy listening to. I'd argue that most marketable music is PURE {censored}.
