Members Meatball Fulton
Thoughts? Why this rash of release announcements on Labor Day weekend?? No mention of whether it works with the RME. Too bad it's by Soundtower :poke:

Members keybdwizrd
It should be free.
Members xpander
i always thought the Voyager sounded like software. this is a much more affordable route to the same end.

It's a software controller that allows your DAW to recognize and control a hardware Voyager as a VST/AU instrument. I agree with Michael. Anyone willing to shell out 3 grand for a monosynth should get this for free.

Members midinut
I also thought when I first saw this thread that Moog was introducing a VSTi version of the Voyager. Too bad.
Members keybdwizrd
I also thought when I first saw this thread that Moog was introducing a VSTi version of the Voyager. Too bad. So did I! I was ready to buy it (for $79) and download it on the spot!
Members Metrosonus
i always thought the Voyager sounded like software. this is a much more affordable route to the same end. All of the new moogs and viruses I've played have left me feeling the same. I keep thinking they are made so the player has to do little with compression etc.
Members girevik
I'm getting more into using my hardware sequencers and not using my soft sequencers at all, so I have no use for it at the moment. But I wouldn't mind hearing a demo from somebody who does.
Members MuzikB
Yeah, I thought I'd get a few people thinking it was a softsynth. At first, I did too. I also agree that for the purchase of a $3000 mono synth, this should be free. Then again, who purchases a finely crafted instrument like this just to leave it connected to software? Members 13ghostsofscoobydoo
yeah, i guess it's good to have options, but it should be free and it kinda defeats the purpose of having an awesome hw synth in the first place. was really kinda expecting more from this company at this point. i think they've done some great things...maybe my expectations are too high.
