Members Chrisjd
I might pick up a krankenstein cab that has the texas heat speakers in them. Anybody have any experience with these in that they can provide an opinion and or compare them to another speaker? I have heard great things about krank cabs, and want to try a 4x12. Other speakers I am interested in are the legends and the Governors. How do the texas heats stack up? P.S. my vht cab has eminence p50 speakers which are awesome, so a comparison to those would be very helpfull as well. Thanks kids.

Members The4thlast1
Texas heat = Scooped mids , big loose base, pretty nice highs with a little sizzle. Not the best eminence in my opinion. I owned alot of them. I think you would be better of with Governers or Private Jacks.

Members The4thlast1
Governers are nice. They sound like v30s but cleaner more efficent and alot smoother. Private jacks sound similiar but lower mid emphasis and less british flavor.
Members Cap'n Ahole
Checked some clips..Texas Heats have a little brighter top end than Govners. Govs have a warmer mid. Ive got some Tonkers, but I'm interested in trying the Red Fang, Private Jack, or ManOWar.
