Members vrm
Not much into metal in general but these guys have piqued/renewed my interest in exploring some new metal bands. I kinda like High on fire as well. What else should I check out?

Members missingastring
how do you get the video right in the post? In the posting toolbar, click the 'Youtube' button, then use the code that you find in the Youtube url between "watch?v=" and "&"... For example, if the link looks like:youtube.com/watch?v=ViP28dcJf-M&feature=related You would put ViP28dcJf-M between the "[YOUTUBE]" tags. Make sense? Members Satyrist
Baroness are definitely cool. I wish the guy's vocals had a bit more variety and melody to them, but still very cool. If you like High on Fire, check out some Motorhead. No Sleep Till Hammersmith is a classic live disc from them, a must hear. Also, check out the last two Amorphis albums, Eclipse and Silent Waters. Very atmospheric, a good amount of melody and cleaner vocals, and also a more organic sound, a great alternative to the scooped, post-Pantera thing. If you're ready to go heavier, you gotta hear Opeth. Ghost Reveries is amazing, but gets pretty brutal at points, fine by me but maybe not by you. Check out Damnation, it's their "clean" album. Amazing dark, atmospheric vibe and really well written songs.
