Members bmast160
The large number is GM, the other is the current draw. They did this so they could grab matching numbersand make matched sets out of them. No, it doesn't matter which one goes in first, just put them in.Both sets are very close together, you could mixthem and you wouldn't have any problems. not that i really need to know but whats gm?thanks for your help! Members tommythelurker
BTW, the current and GM aren't constant in a tube, they will vary depending on the operating parameters. Different tube vendors may have different test fixtures so the numbers from one vendor won't necessarily correlate to the numbers from another vendor and certainly don't indicate what the bias will be when installed in your amp. They only indicate matching when compared with values measured on the same test fixture.
