Members JonathanD
I'm assuming each channel has a hi and lo input? jumping channels means to use a patch cable to activate both channels. like...plug one side of the cable into the lo input 1, and the other end into the hi input 2. or lo1 lo2, hi1 lo2, etc etc. Then plug your guitar into one of the other inputs. This way you can blend the channels together.

Members Angry Grimace
no and yes Remember that it will only work if the amp is wired to work like that (most old ones are). You can't do that with say, a 2203 or something though.

Thanks for the info, that would probably have been the first thing I'd do if I got ahold of one.

Well you can't JUMP the channels because there's only two, but last I heard they are wired to that you can use either high or low, not both; if something's plugged into both it will only go high
Members matterday
Oh my mistake, I realized I was thinking of another amp. For a second I thought the JMP 2203 was a four holer.

The 4 holers do not have a master volume. M.V. came for the JMP in 1975.
