Members mparsons
Sickeningly tight, excellent clarity, the perfect tone color. It's "my" distortion sound. What really shocked me were channels 1 and 2 on the ENGL pre. The clean is GLORIOUS, exactly as I expected from the ENGL. What really took me by surprise was the crunch! Very clear, very articulate, and VERY dynamic. Responsive as you can imagine, with infinite sustain. The only thing that's bugging me slightly is the HUGE gain difference between Channel 3 and Channel 4, but that'll be fine, as it really is a perfect jump from rhythm to lead. I just need to get used to using less gain. The 2150 is fantastic, and apparently it has cheapo tubes ( ElectroHarmonix ). I've got a pair of Groove Tube 6550s that I'm going to set in there in just a moment. Here's to hoping it sounds even better!
