Members MattACaster
I don't care about the speakers just the cabs overall construction. I'm looking for a cheap cab I can rip the speakers out of and put my own in.

Members bdgregory
I have a Spider III 1x12, 75 watts and am a little disappointed in the cab construction. The fit and finish is fine, but it's a little lightweight. You may be ok if you add a little bracing. Then again, maybe you'll like the added breakup contributed by the cab. I'm not sure how the III compares to the II.

Members duncan
Really?? It looked full size to me... they're the same size as MG cabinets but built better. build quality is about the same as Peavey cabs, if not a bit better. i think they're made from MDF tho. i could be wrong. Ah, screw that. I don't want a tiny 4x12. I'll have to keep looking around.
Members peavey_impact
Really?? It looked full size to me... Hmmm...I know a couple guys that have the Spider III cabs and they are definitely much smaller and lighter than my Carvin Legacy 4x12. I just assumed that all the spider series cabs were the same and I could definitely be wrong.

That's what I figured. The Spider is just a good looking cab which is why I was considering it.
