Hate the goldtop, but everything else about those is cool .... I know what you mean about the "bump" at the headstock, but if you buy it, you'll get used to it. My thumb must go where it is when I play in the lower registers. Oh well, it was just day dreaming anyway. My Yamaha with the P90's in it does that 50's grind just fine.
