Members blargh
I've been slowly replacing my MP3 collection with lossless FLAC files on my windows PC, but I don't think Itunes plays them when I want to stream those on my Macbook. Is there something like Foobar2000 for OSX, which can handle a greater variety of formats without the bloated Itunes interface?
Members TornadoOfSouls
I-Tunes is the biggest piece of {censored} since real player. I've grown fond of Windows Media Player, because the .wma files yield pretty high quality results when I rip my cds.
Members JerEvil
I believe VLC will play flac. It's free and plays virtually everything.

Members redeye5
I liked COG a lot and I do the exact same thing as you, namely use FLACs. Try COG. Also Mozilla songbird might be ported to mac, not sure. Worth a look.

Members NaturalBornBoy
Yeah, I'm on PC Maybe that's why you have such a hard time with iTunes. I'm using an iMac and I have zero issues with iTunes

But besides issues on PC, iTunes is just cumbersome. There's too much {censored} in it that's useless, there should be just an iTunes music player. Members mhenson42
I like itunes. It's just the ipods that I keep breaking. I bought an iMac today so we'll see how running itunes on a mac compares to the PC.
