Members TCEDDIA
Saw one yesterday at the local pawn shop for $150. The manager didn't know anything about it so I went home to read about Princetons. I'm going back today to take a close look at it and play through it. What should I be looking for? Are there any bad Princetons? I've read about a nasty cab rattle. BTW, I only want it if it has tubes. I'm primarily a bass player, amateur recordist. I have a mex Tele that I would use with this amp. Thank youTom
Members newholland
silver/blackface? hell yeah, they're great amps, presuming they're either of the two listed. not much to 'em, but cranked out, they'll roar, and quiet, they're beautiful amps. 6v6es arent for everybody-- especially for dirt, cause they can get pretty granular sounding... but for that price.. why not find out? at worst, you fix it if there's a problem and flip it! Members TCEDDIA
I went back today: it's the solid state model. Very clean, practically new, but not what I was looking for. Thanks
