I have a fender mexican tele. I am in the market for a small tube/hybrid combo to record with. I like the fender super champ xd and the vox vt 30. Both have nice amp modelling, are lightweight and are reportedly good recording amps. Differences between the Fender and Vox are: 15W vs 30W 1 preamp tube + 2 power tubes vs 1 power tube $300 vs $269 made in China vs made in Vietnam less effects vs more effects less amp model vs more amp models Anyone have experience with these combos for guitar recording?
