Members Son of X-51
The shop I work in charges 65 for your all round pro level setup and 150 for the Ultimate Setup (lowest possible action, fret level, whatever needs doing.) Those prices would actually be a little less if we didn't have to pay rent. We also usually get things done a timely manner.
Members killswitch_19
I just paid $110 CDN for strings/low action/neck oiled/frets...the whole deal. My guitar plays great but I feel like I paid a little much.

Members jlb32
If your not doing a fret leveling or anything like that I think it's better to do it yourself and get it exactly how you want it. It's pretty damn simple to restring, adjust the action, truss rod (if needed) and intonation. I use to pay to have mine set up. It was usually around $50 and I usually couldn't tell a difference from when I took it in with exception of new strings. It's been alot better since I read up on things and started doing them myself. Now I only take mine in if it's something I can't work out for myself.
Members killswitch_19
I would love to start doing my own, I've just never taken the initiative to learn.
Members jlb32
I would love to start doing my own, I've just never taken the initiative to learn. Nothing to it. Most of time it's just adjusting the action and intonation. You may have to mess with the truss rod slighly but I rarely have to.
