Members Stackabones
Now, you've gotta write a song about Big Red -- it was invented in Waco, too.
Members eddieboston2
It's funny, if a bit repetitive. Of course, repetitive can be a good thing, depending on the intended audience - the drunker the better.I don't know what number 23 is, so I probably missed a few references. Members tbry
Good write...I as well do not know the reference to 23. Is it biblical?
Members Hrafnkel
Not biblical, no. But good enough that it shoulda been! And I've never been a Big Red kinda guy myself, Stack.
Members Stackabones
And I've never been a Big Red kinda guy myself, Stack. Well, ya know, Big Red is part of our heritage! And it's the only mass produced red cream soda in existence (I think).
Members Elias Graves
As evidenced by some of the other posts, non-southerners don't appreciate the beauty that is DP. For those of you not in Texas, people drive for many miles to visit the home plant of Dr Pepper, as you can get bottles of the stuff there made with real honest to God sugar, not corn syrup. Good stuff, man. That song should go over well with local crowds, though. Nice. Real DP is one thing I do miss about Texas. Then I think about fire ants and all is well again...
