Looking for a Pianist....

Hi all,

I'm trying to find someone who can read & play the piano for a piece composed by F. Paolo Tosti called "Ideale". I found a link to the sheet music at: http://artsongcentral.com/2007/tosti-ideale/, but I'm not sure of the music structure as I can't read music......(I believe they're are in seperate keys...G & A).

I'll be using Sonar 7 (for recording) and I'm not sure which file format the piano should be recorded in other than the basic .WAV or MP3 as I've never done this before. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Even a good quiality MIDI file would work.

My dad is 76, has been singing (tenor) all his life, and he's been looking foward to making a CD for the grandkids. I basically need this to accompny my dad's singing.

I'd sincerely appreciate it if anyone can assist me in getting together on this project.

Thanks,

Patre

Hi Patre!

I just don't have the time to consider this project. But you may find someone at these sites:

http://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php

http://www.pianoworld.com/ubb/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum&f=12&submit=Go

I visit both these sites often and know there are some fine pianists there. Let us know if you find someone there.

Good luck!

Since pops is using this for only family CD usage, see if this helps. If so I can transpose it in another key if needed. OR I can render an orchestra version but that would take a bit more time and effort..

Anything I can do to help.. lets get him up and running.. see if this works..

I include 2 versions, one without the vocal part, and the same piece with the piano doubling up the vocal part for reference.

Let me know if something like this will work for you. If you have problems with downloading from soundclick I could attach it via email..

My Ideal

My Ideal (with Piano Vocal part)

Hope this is of some help..

Peace!

I could play it but I really don't have time. Do you realize that you could manually add in every note into the piano roll on Sonar? It's not really a long piece.

By the way, that has got to be the worst translation I have EVER seen. Horrible. Way too liberal and not what was intended.
