Members gtrplyr60
Something about this amp (Mark III Hardwood Combo) has me willing to sell my soul to get it. It's literally right down the street from me, so I can avoid any shipping charges as well. It would be my first Mesa product. So, can someone in the know, give me a realistic value on this? Aside from scuffs here and there, it has one odd EQ slider tip on it, I think I can live with that. It just seems to have so much mojo.
Members thefyn
Pricing? These range from $800 to $1300, so start low and see where it goes.

Members thefyn
IMO, wait and get a Mrak 5 Nah. Mesa hasn't released anything decent since the DC series. More options does not equal a better amp, just more $$$ and more tweak pain.

Having less options doesn't mean I'll automatically like an amp better in my experience.
Members Swimrunner
awesome lead channel, but be warned that the shared eq may make getting good sounds out of all three channels hard.

Members Dave Owens
offer him $700 and see what happens..its a black stripe ( meaning its an early one )..and it has the hardwood cabinet.i would get a new head shell for it and sell the cabinet and the speaker.( but thats just me.).. love the mark3 ..just not the 1x12/head combo..you'd break even on the deal and have a head you can stick ontop of a better cab..(2x12 or 4x12) the mk series sound really good with 4x12s... That's perfect, I can walk in there with cash, maybe they're ready to break!Do you recall, has the price changed at all since it's been on the bay? I have them listed as a favorite seller on ebay, since they are local and carry some pretty decent gear, but just haven't checked them out lately.
