It also means that the V body can be much bigger, helping it retain a much fuller sound from the wood. Combine that with the carved top wings, and this is going to be a tone monster. But that is all I ever do so it is perfect. And it is a push/push. You push it in and it pops up and plays the neck, the push it back down and it is back to the bridge. There is no pulling of knobs.
