Members myusernamerulz Posted March 21, 2009 Members Share Posted March 21, 2009 i was in their workshop once, the dude who builds them sold my band's bass player an unloaded ampeg 8x10 and 2x15 for i believe around $150 or so, might've been cheaper. i guess it's cheaper to buy roughed up old cabs of whatever sort, unload them, then resell them empty than it is to order all new speakers for his cabs? pretty cool workshop, it was the basement of some building in downtown chicago wall to wall covered in old stickers. i don't really know what that has to do with knowing how the actual cabs sound but...
