Members blue2blue Posted August 16, 2009 Members Share Posted August 16, 2009 I like the way you play off expectation... the winter is over but now the singer is anxiously wondering just where the sun is... and where the object of his longing and affection is. Of course, it's impossible to guess how this is supposed to sound with music, but I could imagine it working in a simple folk song like context, or perhaps some form of a reggae form... I could imagine some ensemble back up singers echoing the lines. It seems like, with the right music, it could be a simple, heartfelt little song with a lot of charm. Members Blakemore Effects Posted August 19, 2009 Members Share Posted August 19, 2009 I'm not the best with lyrics, but from my amateur point of view, this song really spoke to me. I found myself really enjoying it. The only thing I had a problem with is that there are some typos in the written version of the lyrics, which just bugged me a bit, but that's obviously a very minor complaint haha.
