Members jhamnett Posted April 29, 2009 Members Share Posted April 29, 2009 I picked up a JTM-60 1x12 combo in Jan and it came with the stock tubes. It has 4 12ax7s in the pre and 2 EL34s in the power section. Knowing how better tubes have improved my HRDeville, I want to get some nice tubes to get the full potential out of the JTM-60. Any suggestions? Also, if anyone has a good speaker suggestion, I would need a 16 Ohm, 60 Watt speaker. Stock is a Marshall Heritage Celestion G12. I have no idea how this relates to a Celestion G12-65, if it's the same or a bit different due to the "Marshall Heritage" designation. Thanks! I was planning on going the JJ route for V2 - V4 and maybe getting something pretty nice for V1. Then, maybe the JJ EL-34L or the EH 6CA7...
