Members teleman55
Got an orphan song. One of my faves I've wrote but never seemed to fit what I was doing at any time. While clearing off clutter from hard drive it popped up and somebody said, "you oughtta send that to so and so". I reflected and thought, yeah, this is true. Never pitched a song to a specific artist. Anyone know how???
Members Johnny-Boy
Best way is to submit it through a mutual friend/associate of the artist. Building relationships in the Industry takes time, but it
Members Johnny-Boy
You can try a company like TAXI (for a middleman). Your production has to be broadcast quality though. Also, songpluggers still exist in Nashville. Some respectable, some not so respectable, but they're all expensive. John

Members Chicken Monkey
I think this depends heavily on who it is you're pitching to. "You ought to get that song to Christina Aguilera" is a lot different from, "You ought to pitch that song to Iowa Mike and the DesMoines".

Members Maddaxe111
I've never tried this but you could try and get to the artist through their fan clubs. Just a thought . . .
