Members Fenix40
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=950682 Its the only song on there hahaI already know most of you wont exaclt like the song, but I'm willing to go for some constructive criticism. Tell me what you think of the mix, tone, playing etc. Also yes the clean vocals are not the greatest in the world. We need to find someone who can actually sing for us. I like everything except for my guitar tone, its fizzy as I dont think I turned up the 6505+ enough. Only had it on about 2, probably should of removed some highs while i was at it. All distorted tracks were boosted 6505+ into a mesa oversized. The octaves in the verses and the clean parts were from an egnater tourmaster also into the mesa. Members Holy War
pop as all {censored}, but pretty awesome. Keep the guitar tones as is...they sound good. Also, your singer sounds like every other singer in the genre, he needs to change up his style to give you a more unique soundOverall, i like it

Members Fenix40
you need to boost a 6505? I do, gives it that extra bit of saturation I want in it. When I play a 6505 unboosted I hate it, but when I boost it I fall in love with it.

I will agree with you on the singing bit. Hes not a great singer. But I do dig his screams for the most part. His lows arent the greatest though. But thanks for the tone comment! Members Jisatsu
you need to boost a 6505? I boost my 5150's rhythm channel to get a smoother, less harsh sound than the lead channel.

Members OverDriven
you need to boost a 6505? You don't hang around here much eh? Boosting a 5150/6505 is common, and is the secret behind a lot of great metal tones.
