Members JMR
not four ohms and just about zero clean headroom
Members Dewysoss
Used Fenders? Why does it need to be 4 ohms? If you have a 4ohm cab, a 8ohm amp will work fine.
Members JMR
I'm not much of a fender guy, really.
Members Dewysoss
Have you considered the Vox Night Train?
Members JMR
I've been considering the vox night train, marshall haze, frenzel fe3 and sweet little 15, and whatever craigslist offers

Members JMR
a guy on jus soli got one of those pretty cheap and runs it through an avatar contemporary 412 with vintage 30s
Members Stevenexp
I sold my triple rectifier and kept the Carvin. The Carvin sounds like a hot-rodded JCM800 but more American sounding if you know what I mean. I also a/b'd the Carvin against the Rectifier with a group of people and they all said the X100-b sounded better. Don't get me wrong I love the rectifiers but this Carvin is killer. Oh and in b4 the "you can't dial a recto assholes".

(i live in indianapolis, btw) That's a good price but like he said it needs some work. If you go used get one of the el34 versions like that one. I have one of the new re-issues and it sounds great! Pretty cheap for a new 100 watt tube head as well. https://www.carvinguitars.com/products/single.php?product=X100B
