Hi

I have being going through my old Albums

Looking for any good Bluesy Riffy hard rock bands to listen to with Good guitar playing

 

You know Old Van halen , Kixx , XYZ ,Xtream .....etc

 

Are there old school rockers here that can recommend any Good Old School hard Rock bands to check out ?

Just bought those 2 on CD (haven't listened to them in years), great records. I have them on cassette but have run out of cassette players, except my 4-track.

Thanks for the input guys , Keep in mind im looking Hard Bluesy stuff

 

bands like Ozzy's are all good good but not really in the Bluesy mould

 

I was listening to some badlands , Good band but all that inspiring in the Riff department for example..........

 

What about songs in particular ?:poke:

I listen to some {censored} today and its chug chug chug chug on E string, S-C-R-E-A-M, G-R-O-W-L, H-O-W-L, etc, etc

 

 

and if thats not bad enough were NOW getting techno breakdowns and autotune vocals in our modern rock/metal!!

Agreed 100% I don't even turn on the Radio anymore.

I agree, except it's not dead - it's just in hiding.

It's our jobs, as musicians an music lovers, to help find, create, and disburse such killer riffy-rock.

 

I'm doing my part.

Lynch Mob FTW, but if you dig Lynch Mob - check out Sweet F.A.

They had two albums that were both AWESOME.

First one was called 'Stick To Your Guns' and second was 'Temptation'

-- both great guitar fun records with awesome raspy vocals.

Incredible band and songs.

 

Check out Tora Tora as well. Their second album 'Wild America' has some seriously great tones and songs. Their first album had a couple great tunes, but the second disk was awesome.

 

Spread Eagle's second album - 'Open To The Public' as well had some incredible songs, tones and vocals.

 

You can't go wrong with any Tesla either.
